How is Garfield Heights for outdoor activities?

Curious what people think. My partner and I are Median household income is $52,006, which feels on the lower side for the area. Poverty rate is 18.1%, which is higher than I expected. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Am I wrong here? Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

Used to live on the North side, now on the Meadowbrook side. Completely different vibe. it's not perfect but it works for me.

I've lived in Meadowbrook for about 6 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

the quality of life is solid. When I first moved here from Nashville, I was surprised by traffic. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Good schools in most areas
- Decent public transit for the size
- The outdoor recreation scene is better than expected

The downsides:
- Not a lot of cultural diversity
- Far from beaches/mountains

Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for singles. Feel free to reach out with questions..
