Not sure if this has been asked before, but I grew up here but left for a while. Homes are going for about $100,000 on average. Rent is about $1,085/month for a decent place. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Any advice would be great. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.
