Anyone else feel this way? My family moved here when I was a kid. Average temperature is around 52--F, so expect cold winters. Homes are going for about $100,000 on average. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. What neighborhoods would you suggest? Appreciate any input.

Weather-wise, the summers are tough and winters are reasonable. You get used to it after the first year.

The food scene here is hit or miss. Tons of great Korean places. it was the best decision I ever made.

I'm a electrician and I've found it's improved dramatically in recent years. The community is challenging and there's always something going on.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are solid, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.
