Raising a family in Garfield -thoughts?

I'm a college student here and With a population of 32,502, Garfield is a smaller city. Rent is about $1,612/month for a decent place. Median household income is $75,701, which feels about average for the area. Household incomes average around $75,701 in Garfield. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Has anyone dealt with this? Property taxes are high but you get good services. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

Weather-wise, the summers are hit or miss and winters are reasonable. You get used to it after the first year.

Hot take but it's not perfect but it works for me. I know a lot of people disagree but after 12 years here, that's my honest assessment.
