How is the nightlife in Garfield?

Curious what people think. Military spouse here. The median home value here is around $64,200, which is actually reasonable. Poverty rate is 10.4%, which is around average. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Would love some local perspective. The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The suburbs are where most families end up. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Property taxes are high but you get good services. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem excellent.

I've been here 9 years and it was the best decision I ever made. The thing nobody mentions is housing market. It's manageable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the community vibe is legit. And if you're into golfing, this place is underrated.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Sunset side vs the Pine Hills side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Hope this helps!.

My experience has been mostly positive. I have mixed feelings honestly. The only thing I'd watch out for is pet-friendliness. Other than that, Happy to answer more specific questions..
