Curious what people think. With a population of 81,632, Gastonia is a smaller city. It's a a smaller city city with about 81,632 people. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Am I wrong here? Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

Background: I'm a HR manager, 24, moved here 11 years ago from Dallas. I've lived in Fairview and Cedar Grove, and traveled to most parts of the metro.
**What I love:**

I've lived in East for about 8 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
