Cost of living reality check -Geneva

Curious what people think. I'm a college student here and The median home value here is around $140,300, which is actually reasonable. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Has anyone dealt with this? It's not perfect, but the community is solid.

Public transit is average here. You'll probably need a car for most things. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, it's improved dramatically in recent years. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
