Is Geneva worth it salary-wise?

Been meaning to ask this. My family moved here when I was a kid. Poverty rate is 15.2%, which is higher than I expected. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Has anyone dealt with this? The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.

My experience has been mostly positive. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The only thing I'd watch out for is community vibe. Other than that, No regrets on my end..

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem average.

I've been here 8 years and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The thing nobody mentions is dating scene. It's developing and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the weather is legit. And if you're into kayaking, this place is decent.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Meadowbrook side vs the Fairview side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

It's not for everyone but it works for us..
