Longtime lurker here, Rent is about $1,043/month for a decent place. With a population of 1,008, Genoa is a small town. You can expect to pay around $1,043 for rent here. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. What neighborhoods would you suggest? Property taxes are high but you get good services. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The city has invested a lot in new development. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.
