Rent vs buy in Georgetown -what makes sense?

Curious what people think. I'm retired and It's a a small town city with about 11,606 people. With a population of 11,606, Georgetown is a small town. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The suburbs are where most families end up. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Does this match your experience? Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.
