OK so My family moved here when I was a kid. Homes are going for about $262,600 on average. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Should I be concerned? There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The suburbs are where most families end up. The weather takes some getting used to. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The food scene here is surprisingly good. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.
