Is Georgetown getting better or worse?

Born and raised here. Average temperature is around 56--F, so the weather is moderate. Crime rate is something to consider -Georgetown sits at 116.8 per 100K. The city has invested a lot in new development. Any advice would be great.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, I genuinely enjoy living here. Would recommend to anyone considering it..
