Moving to Georgetown -what should I know?

Random thought, I'm a teacher here and It's a a smaller city city with about 38,206 people. Median household income is $78,373, which feels about average for the area. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. TIA! I'd say it's better for families than young singles. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

My experience has been mostly positive. I have mixed feelings honestly. The only thing I'd watch out for is walkability. Other than that, Good luck with whatever you decide..

Used to live on the Sunset side, now on the Meadowbrook side. Completely different vibe. it was the best decision I ever made.

Public transit is average here. You'll probably need a car for most things. the quality of life is solid.
