Hey folks, I work in manufacturing and Rent is about $1,671/month for a decent place. The unemployment rate is 2.8%, which is pretty low. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. What would you do? Property taxes are high but you get good services. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The suburbs are where most families end up. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.

I've lived in North for about 4 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

the quality of life is solid. When I first moved here from Dallas, I was surprised by pet-friendliness. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Nice parks and green spaces
- The nightlife scene is surprisingly good

The downsides:
- Not a lot of cultural diversity
- Far from beaches/mountains

Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for remote workers. Hope this helps!.
