Living in Germantown -the reality

My family moved here when I was a kid. Household incomes average around $112,149 in Germantown. It's a a smaller city city with about 90,521 people. The suburbs are where most families end up. Looking forward to hearing from you all. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

I've lived in Lakewood for about 11 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it exceeded my expectations. When I first moved here from LA, I was surprised by dating scene. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Good schools in most areas
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- The weather scene is improving

The downsides:
- Not very walkable outside downtown
- Can feel isolated

Overall I'd rate it 9/10 for young professionals. Happy to answer more specific questions..

I've lived in Cedar Grove for about 2 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

the quality of life is solid. When I first moved here from Houston, I was surprised by cultural scene. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Lots of new development happening
- Good internet infrastructure
- The cultural scene scene is pretty good

The downsides:
- Homeless population growing downtown
- Far from beaches/mountains

Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for couples. Happy to answer more specific questions..
