Things Germantown needs to improve
Hey everyone, I'm originally from New York and Poverty rate is 1.7%, which is pretty low. Homes are going for about $441,200 on average. Household incomes average around $144,799 in Germantown. Rent is about $1,760/month for a decent place. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. What are your go-to spots? Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The city has invested a lot in new development. Property taxes are high but you get good services.
