How is Gig Harbor for outdoor activities?

Random thought, It's a a small town city with about 12,202 people. The median home value here is around $686,000, which is pretty steep. With a population of 12,202, Gig Harbor is a small town. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Should I be concerned? Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The city has invested a lot in new development. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. it's been a really good experience overall. Internet is solid in most areas.

As someone who grew up here, it was the best decision I ever made. A lot has changed in the past few years though. outdoor recreation used to be much developing but now it's hit or miss.
