What's it really like living in Gig Harbor?
Longtime lurker here, My family moved here when I was a kid. Homes are going for about $686,000 on average. With a population of 12,202, Gig Harbor is a small town. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Has anyone dealt with this? There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The weather takes some getting used to. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.
