Career opportunities in Gilbert, AZ

Anyone else feel this way? I'm a remote worker and Rent is about $2,028/month for a decent place. Crime rate is something to consider — Gilbert sits at 96.6 per 100K. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's changing fast — some good, some not so much. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

Bought a house here in 2015 and it's been a really good experience overall. Property values have gone down slightly since then.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, it's improved dramatically in recent years. Would recommend to anyone considering it..
