Gillette housing prices -when will it stop?

I'm single, late 50s, and The median home value here is around $257,200, which seems about average. Average temperature is around 47--F, so expect cold winters. Crime rate is something to consider -Gillette sits at 134.5 per 100K. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The city has invested a lot in new development. Thanks! Property taxes are high but you get good services. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 12 years ago from Atlanta and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Meadowbrook. It's decent for what you get.

Jobs: The market is pricey right now, especially in hospitality. If you're in real estate you might struggle.

People: Generally pretty good. It took about 13 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: challenging. Tons of options if you like BBQ.

Good luck with whatever you decide..
