Not sure if this has been asked before, but Been living here since 2021. Rent is about $2,270/month for a decent place. With a population of 58,561, Gilroy is a smaller city. The median home value here is around $975,800, which is pretty steep. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Worth the trade-offs? Cheers. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.
