Is Girard still affordable?

I relocated for work and The median home value here is around $105,700, which is actually reasonable. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. What would you do? Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want nightlife, then yeah this place is great. But if outdoor recreation matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.
