Gladeview quality of life -am I missing something?

Anyone else feel this way? I'm retired and The median home value here is around $295,000, which seems about average. Average temperature is around 77--F, so it's warm year-round. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Any advice would be great. TIA! Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

Came here for work and stayed because it's not perfect but it works for me. The cost of living is honestly solid and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

I'm a writer and I've found it's improved dramatically in recent years. The community is pretty good and there's always something going on.
