Worst things about Gladeview nobody talks about

I'm a nurse at the local hospital and Household incomes average around $44,560 in Gladeview. The unemployment rate is 4.1%, which is about average. Homes are going for about $295,000 on average. The median home value here is around $295,000, which seems about average. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Has anyone dealt with this? People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

I've lived in Fairview for about 12 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I love the pace of life here. When I first moved here from Portland, I was surprised by outdoor recreation. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Four distinct seasons
- The cost of living scene is decent

The downsides:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Limited shopping options

Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for remote workers. Good luck with whatever you decide..
