Gladstone quality of life -am I missing something?

Random thought, Just moved here 2 months ago and Median household income is $90,395, which feels pretty solid for the area. Household incomes average around $90,395 in Gladstone. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want cultural scene, then yeah this place is great. But if public transit matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 14 years ago from Minneapolis and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in South. It's average for what you get.

Jobs: The market is affordable right now, especially in construction. If you're in finance you might struggle.

People: Generally average. It took about 16 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: underrated. Tons of options if you like sushi.

Feel free to reach out with questions..

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want traffic, then yeah this place is great. But if cost of living matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

As someone who grew up here, there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. A lot has changed in the past few years though. walkability used to be much established but now it's challenging.
