Glasgow is underrated, change my mind

Hey, With a population of 15,141, Glasgow is a small town. Rent is about $836/month for a decent place. Median household income is $42,417, which feels on the lower side for the area. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Thoughts? Looking forward to hearing from you all. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The food scene here is surprisingly good. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 10 years ago from San Francisco and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Older homes are where the value is. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Pine Hills. It's pretty good for what you get.

Jobs: The market is developing right now, especially in healthcare. If you're in finance you might struggle.

People: Generally underrated. It took about 4 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: better than expected. Tons of options if you like Italian.

Hope this helps!.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want safety, then yeah this place is great. But if traffic matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.
