Curious what people think. The unemployment rate is 2.6%, which is pretty low. Median household income is $42,417, which feels on the lower side for the area. Poverty rate is 19.5%, which is higher than I expected. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Am I wrong here? Property taxes are high but you get good services. The city has invested a lot in new development. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The food scene here is surprisingly good. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.
