How is Glassmanor for outdoor activities?

So, My family moved here when I was a kid. With a population of 17,687, Glassmanor is a small town. The unemployment rate is 3.6%, which is pretty low. Poverty rate is 7.1%, which is pretty low. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Thoughts? There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The city has invested a lot in new development. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.

My experience has been mostly positive. it's not perfect but it works for me. The only thing I'd watch out for is weather. Other than that, No regrets on my end..

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. it's improved dramatically in recent years. Internet is decent in most areas.

I've lived in North for about 8 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. When I first moved here from Dallas, I was surprised by walkability. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Good healthcare facilities
- The weather scene is surprisingly good

The downsides:
- Summers can be brutally hot
- Rising rent and home prices

Overall I'd rate it 8/10 for remote workers. Hope this helps!.

I've lived in Meadowbrook for about 15 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's improved dramatically in recent years. When I first moved here from Raleigh, I was surprised by community vibe. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Good healthcare facilities
- Strong job market in several industries
- The cultural scene scene is hit or miss

The downsides:
- Limited shopping options
- Far from beaches/mountains

Overall I'd rate it 9/10 for singles. Definitely worth checking out..

As someone who grew up here, it's not perfect but it works for me. A lot has changed in the past few years though. outdoor recreation used to be much stable but now it's challenging.

Hot take but it's not perfect but it works for me. I know a lot of people disagree but after 11 years here, that's my honest assessment.
