How is Gleason for outdoor activities?

So, I'm retired and Median household income is $58,906, which feels about average for the area. The suburbs are where most families end up. What neighborhoods would you suggest? Looking forward to hearing from you all. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

I've lived in South for about 2 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's been a really good experience overall. When I first moved here from Charlotte, I was surprised by public transit. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Close to major attractions
- The safety scene is underrated

The downsides:
- Can feel isolated
- Bugs and humidity in summer

Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for retirees. No regrets on my end..

The food scene here is underrated. Tons of great Asian places. I genuinely enjoy living here.
