Anyone else feel this way? Been living here since 2009. Rent is about $1,719/month for a decent place. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 4 years ago from San Diego and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Greenfield. It's challenging for what you get.
Jobs: The market is established right now, especially in finance. If you're in engineering you might struggle.
People: Generally average. It took about 13 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: underrated. Tons of options if you like sushi.
