Anyone work in healthcare in Glen Carbon?

I grew up here but left for a while. The unemployment rate is 2.7%, which is pretty low. Median household income is $92,434, which feels pretty solid for the area. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Would love some local perspective. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The food scene here is surprisingly good.

We moved here with our family and I have mixed feelings honestly. Schools in The Heights area are tough. Kids love it here.

I work in manufacturing here and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The job market for my field is improving. Feel free to reach out with questions..
