Moving from Austin to Glen Carbon next month

Hey, I work in tech and Homes are going for about $278,200 on average. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. What are your go-to spots? The weather takes some getting used to. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

Came here for a fresh start and stayed because I love the pace of life here. The cultural scene is honestly excellent and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
