Unpopular opinion about Glen Carbon

OK so I work in manufacturing and It's a a small town city with about 13,521 people. Rent is about $1,088/month for a decent place. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The suburbs are where most families end up. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The suburbs are where most families end up. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The suburbs are where most families end up. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, it was the best decision I ever made. Definitely worth checking out..

I work in marketing here and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The job market for my field is underrated. Happy to answer more specific questions..
