First time home buyer in Glen Cove

Hey, Median household income is $91,355, which feels pretty solid for the area. Poverty rate is 9.9%, which is pretty low. The suburbs are where most families end up. Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem excellent.

I've been here 2 years and it exceeded my expectations. The thing nobody mentions is food scene. It's manageable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the nightlife is legit. And if you're into running, this place is challenging.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Old Town side vs the Eastside side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

It's not for everyone but it works for us..

I'm a accountant and I've found I have mixed feelings honestly. The community is hit or miss and there's always something going on.
