Hey, We have two kids and It's a a small town city with about 1,956 people. Average temperature is around 48--F, so expect cold winters. Household incomes average around $34,416 in Glen Lyon. Rent is about $888/month for a decent place. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The suburbs are where most families end up. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.
