Anyone else love living in Glen Rock?

Curious what people think. Household incomes average around $210,369 in Glen Rock. Average temperature is around 53--F, so expect cold winters. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Would love some local perspective. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 7 years ago from Phoenix and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Westside. It's pretty good for what you get.

Jobs: The market is reasonable right now, especially in legal. If you're in finance you might struggle.

People: Generally excellent. It took about 10 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: challenging. Tons of options if you like Vietnamese.

Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
