I've been here for 16 years and Crime rate is something to consider — Glendale sits at 339.8 per 100K. You can expect to pay around $1,397 for rent here. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Any help is appreciated. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are underrated, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

As someone who grew up here, it was the best decision I ever made. A lot has changed in the past few years though. food scene used to be much established but now it's better than expected.
