How are the schools in Glendale Heights?

Not sure if this has been asked before, but I grew up here but left for a while. It's a a smaller city city with about 32,864 people. You can expect to pay around $1,562 for rent here. Crime rate is something to consider -Glendale Heights sits at 82.7 per 100K. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The suburbs are where most families end up. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem average.

I've been here 8 years and it's been a really good experience overall. The thing nobody mentions is food scene. It's manageable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the healthcare is legit. And if you're into golfing, this place is excellent.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Westside side vs the The Heights side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
