Is public transit usable in Glendale?

First post here. Household incomes average around $77,096 in Glendale. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The weather takes some getting used to. Is this normal for Glendale? Appreciate any input. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a nurse who relocated here from Dallas about 3 years ago. The main reasons were family and my partner's job.

Pros I've experienced:
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Good airport with direct flights
- Diverse dining options

Cons that are real:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Far from beaches/mountains

Financially, we've found it pretty good compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are manageable, gas is pretty good.

Socially, it was the best decision I ever made. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
