How much do you pay for rent in Glendora?

OK so Military spouse here. Rent is about $2,218/month for a decent place. Household incomes average around $111,915 in Glendora. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The suburbs are where most families end up. Is this normal for Glendora? Thanks in advance!

I work in hospitality here and I have mixed feelings honestly. The job market for my field is improving. Good luck with whatever you decide..

As someone who grew up here, it was the best decision I ever made. A lot has changed in the past few years though. nightlife used to be much manageable but now it's average.

I'm a HR manager and I've found I have mixed feelings honestly. The community is decent and there's always something going on.

OK I'm going to write a proper review because I've seen too many incomplete answers.

Background: I'm a real estate agent, 37, moved here 12 years ago from Houston. I've lived in Oak Park and Downtown, and traveled to most parts of the metro.

**What I love:**
1. Nice parks and green spaces
2. Strong job market in several industries
3. Good airport with direct flights
4. The people are generally pretty good - I found my community within the first year

**What I don't love:**
1. Urban sprawl is real
2. Chain restaurants dominate
3. The housing market situation is competitive and doesn't seem to be improving

**Neighborhoods I'd recommend:**
- Oak Park: Great for couples. improving vibes, walkable.
- Downtown: More affordable, family-friendly.

**Neighborhoods I'd avoid:**
- Without naming names, stay away from areas east of downtown until you know the city better.

**Cost comparison:**
Coming from Houston, everything felt solid. Rent is about /mo. Groceries are growing. Gas is wild. You can live comfortably on $100K-$100K here.

**Final verdict:**
Good luck with whatever you decide.. It's not perfect - nowhere is - but for the price point and quality of life, it's hard to beat. DM me if you have specific questions.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value community vibe, you'll love it. The outdoor recreation is genuinely decent and I've found I'm still on the fence after all this time. My neighborhood (Highland) is affordable and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Boston, be prepared for the culture shock. school system is completely different here. And Not very walkable outside downtown.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value school system, you'll love it. The nightlife is genuinely excellent and I've found I love the pace of life here. My neighborhood (Riverside) is competitive and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Phoenix, be prepared for the culture shock. housing market is completely different here. And Nightlife is limited.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

Hot take but I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. I know a lot of people disagree but after 8 years here, that's my honest assessment.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 8 years ago from Charlotte and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in Meadowbrook. It's surprisingly good for what you get.

Jobs: The market is developing right now, especially in construction. If you're in construction you might struggle.

People: Generally challenging. It took about 14 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: underrated. Tons of options if you like Asian.

Definitely worth checking out..
