Glenn Dale is underrated, change my mind

Longtime lurker here, I'm a remote worker and Average temperature is around 55--F, so expect cold winters. The median home value here is around $531,000, which is pretty steep. The unemployment rate is 2.8%, which is pretty low. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The city has invested a lot in new development. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Would love some local perspective. Looking forward to hearing from you all. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The food scene here is excellent. Tons of great Korean places. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad.

Weather-wise, the summers are average and winters are developing. You get used to it after the first year.
