Anyone regret moving to Glenwood City?

Hey folks, Median household income is $70,833, which feels about average for the area. The median home value here is around $159,900, which is actually reasonable. The suburbs are where most families end up. What do you all think? Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is nightlife. it exceeded my expectations. Worth doing your research before committing.

Hot take but it's not perfect but it works for me. I know a lot of people disagree but after 6 years here, that's my honest assessment.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem pretty good.

I've been here 14 years and the quality of life is solid. The thing nobody mentions is pet-friendliness. It's wild and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the housing market is legit. And if you're into rock climbing, this place is challenging.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Oak Park side vs the Eastside side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, I genuinely enjoy living here. Hope this helps!.
