OK so I'm single, late 40s, and The unemployment rate is 2.8%, which is pretty low. Homes are going for about $592,000 on average. Average temperature is around 48--F, so expect cold winters. Poverty rate is 4.1%, which is pretty low. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Should I be concerned? Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.
