So, I'm a college student here and The unemployment rate is 3.9%, which is pretty low. With a population of 11,465, Gloucester City is a small town. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Would love some local perspective. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.
