Hey everyone, Household incomes average around $71,589 in Gloucester Point. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The city has invested a lot in new development. Does this match your experience? It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The suburbs are where most families end up.

My experience has been mostly positive. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The only thing I'd watch out for is job market. Other than that, No regrets on my end..

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem solid.
I've been here 2 years and it's improved dramatically in recent years. The thing nobody mentions is dating scene. It's manageable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the cost of living is legit. And if you're into photography, this place is better than expected.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Riverside side vs the Old Town side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
