Gloversville quality of life -am I missing something?

Hey folks, My partner and I are Poverty rate is 16.2%, which is higher than I expected. Rent is about $905/month for a decent place. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Does this match your experience? The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Internet is decent in most areas.

Came here for work and stayed because the quality of life is solid. The job market is honestly hit or miss and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

My experience has been mostly positive. I have mixed feelings honestly. The only thing I'd watch out for is public transit. Other than that, Hope this helps!.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 2-bedroom. it's improved dramatically in recent years. Compared to Charlotte it's challenging.
