Rent vs buy in Gloversville -what makes sense?

I've been here for 1 years and It's a a small town city with about 15,010 people. Homes are going for about $95,500 on average. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. What would you do? Looking forward to hearing from you all.

The food scene here is improving. Tons of great Indian places. it's not perfect but it works for me.

I've lived in Highland for about 5 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's been a really good experience overall. When I first moved here from Salt Lake City, I was surprised by housing market. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Good healthcare facilities
- Four distinct seasons
- The dating scene scene is hit or miss

The downsides:
- Urban sprawl is real
- Can feel isolated

Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for families. No regrets on my end..
