I'm a 36-year-old writer and Average temperature is around 42--F, so bundle up in winter. Homes are going for about $95,500 on average. It's a a small town city with about 15,010 people. Household incomes average around $49,155 in Gloversville. The city has invested a lot in new development. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Am I overthinking this? Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.
