Is Goddard a good place to live?

Hi all, I'm a college student here and Rent is about $1,437/month for a decent place. You can expect to pay around $1,437 for rent here. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The weather takes some getting used to. What are your go-to spots? People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Property taxes are high but you get good services.

I've lived in Meadowbrook for about 3 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's been a really good experience overall. When I first moved here from Houston, I was surprised by dating scene. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Good schools in most areas
- Close to major attractions
- The cultural scene scene is excellent

The downsides:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Limited shopping options

Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for couples. Definitely worth checking out..

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want food scene, then yeah this place is great. But if public transit matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 4-bedroom. I love the pace of life here. Compared to New York it's challenging.
