Hi all, I relocated for work and Household incomes average around $62,410 in Goldenrod. The city has invested a lot in new development. Any help is appreciated. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

I'm a nurse who relocated here from Phoenix about 8 years ago. The main reasons were a fresh start and school.
Pros I've experienced:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Good healthcare facilities
- Diverse dining options
Cons that are real:
- Chain restaurants dominate
- Dating scene is rough
Financially, we've found it challenging compared to where we came from. It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. Groceries are affordable, gas is improving.
Socially, it's not perfect but it works for me. Definitely worth checking out..

I've lived in Old Town for about 2 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
it's been a really good experience overall. When I first moved here from Austin, I was surprised by outdoor recreation. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Good schools in most areas
- The nightlife scene is improving
The downsides:
- Limited public transit options
- Nightlife is limited
Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for singles. Feel free to reach out with questions..
